Indigenous Peoples Day

Writer's picture: Dr. FrizzellDr. Frizzell

I am very honored to come from such a strong people. When I find things challenging, I reflect on the strength of my ancestors who endured so much more. ~Dr. Frizzell

Today, we honor Indigenous Peoples Day at Enchantment Family Dentistry. As a direct descendant of Ramona Daklugie, I, Dr. Felicia Frizzell, am proud to carry forward the legacy of such strong ancestors from the Mescalero Apache Tribe. It is a privilege to serve our community on our traditional homelands.

This day is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the rich history, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of Indigenous peoples across the nation. I am deeply grateful to provide dental care in a place that resonates with my heritage and community.

Let’s take a moment today to acknowledge the resilience, strength, and vibrant traditions of Indigenous peoples. Wishing everyone a meaningful and reflective Indigenous Peoples Day!
