Dr. Felicia Frizzell, DDS, MHS, FACD
I'm Dr. Felicia Frizzell, and I'm delighted to serve the community where I was raised—the beautiful mountains that I call home. My journey into dentistry began at the age of five, during a memorable field trip to this very office. It was here that I received my first cherry red toothbrush and was captivated by the world of dentistry, thanks to the shiny instruments and the warm welcome from Dr. Tate and Dr. Waters. Following my passion, I pursued higher education at Stanford University, where I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology. My commitment to understanding the critical role of oral health in overall wellness led me to the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where I earned a Master's degree in Health Science. My educational journey culminated at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where I had the honor of becoming the first Mescalero Apache dentist. My philosophy is straightforward—oral health is the cornerstone of general health. I am committed to alleviating pain and enhancing the beauty of your smile through skilled dental care. Beyond the office, I am actively involved in national public health initiatives and contribute to various presentations and publications aimed at improving dental health policies. I also find joy in mentoring the youth and inspiring them to explore rewarding careers in dental care. Outside of my professional life, I cherish living in our sacred mountains with my six-year-old son Freddie, staying close to our family and the community that shaped me. I look forward to meeting you and offering compassionate, comprehensive dental care that supports not just your oral health, but your overall well-being.
Margie - Insurance Coordinator/ Accounts Receivable
A proud Ruidoso local, Margie has dedicated her life to both her family and her community. After raising her children in the beautiful landscapes of Ruidoso, she turned her passion for helping others into a rewarding career in the dental field. With five years of experience, Margie is committed to providing exceptional dental care and making every patient feel at home. When she’s not in the office, you can find her enjoying the great outdoors. Margie believes in the power of community and is dedicated to making Ruidoso a healthier, happier place for everyone.
Tunte - Dental Assistant
Tunte Izashe Baca is a proud Indigenous woman of the Mescalero Apache Tribe. She recently graduated with an associate degree in Elementary Education from Eastern New Mexico University Ruidoso (2024). Her goal is to further her education at Eastern New Mexico, Portales to obtain a bachelor’s degree in the same field. Her goal is to use her passion in teaching to inspire others to pursue careers in this much needed field specific to Indigenous communities. She has also founded and incorporated a local Podcast – “Small Town Rez Girls” along with her co-partner to connect with all Indigenous communities in Indian Country. As an individual who enjoys challenging projects, she wants to take the project to reach Indigenous youth in her community to address the struggles and challenges in Indian Country that we face with positive solutions for change.
Jules - Dental Assistant
Jules is a passionate dental assistant dedicated to making every patient’s experience comfortable and positive. With a keen eye for detail and a friendly demeanor, she excels at providing exceptional support to both patients and the dental team. Jules has a deep love for the field and is always eager to learn new techniques and stay updated on the latest advancements in dental care. Her commitment to patient education helps empower individuals to take charge of their oral health. Outside of work, Jules enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with family and friends. Her blend of professionalism and warmth makes her an invaluable asset to the practice.
Aubrey - Administration
Originally from Albuquerque, NM, I developed a passion for web development in high school, which laid the foundation for my 30-year career in technology. Over the years, I’ve expanded my expertise in network infrastructure, hardware, and VoIP systems. I’m proud to collaborate with Dr. Frizzell and the dedicated team at Enchantment Family Dentistry, offering website development and IT support to ensure their technological needs are met.
