Exciting News: Dr. Frizzell Joins Prestigious Clinical Research Program!

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Frizzell has been selected to participate in the inaugural 2024-25 Pacific-Stanford Comprehensive Clinical Research Training Program. This program is supported by the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. The selection process attracted a multitude of outstanding applicants, highlighting the competitive nature of this prestigious opportunity.

The Pacific-Stanford PRIMED program is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of oral health clinical researchers by merging research with clinical practice. In collaboration with Stanford University, this initiative presents a unique opportunity for participants—including students, residents, faculty, and alumni—to refine their clinical research skills, apply biomedical discoveries in practice, and drive advancements in oral health care.

Participants will receive comprehensive training and mentorship, culminating in a certificate from Stanford University upon successful completion. This is particularly meaningful for Dr. Frizzell, a 2003 Stanford University alumna who also earned her dental degree from the University of the Pacific. She will be heading to Stanford in September and Pacific in November for invaluable hands-on experience.

Dr. Frizzell is eager to delve into the latest developments in oral medicine, further honing her skills to enhance the oral health of our community. We are proud to support her in this incredible journey, confident that it will greatly benefit both her practice and our patients.

Stay tuned for updates on Dr. Frizzell’s experience and insights from this transformative program!
